Gina Smith
Gina Smith is a 20 year old singer/songwriter and guitarist from the highlands of Scotland.
She is a visual storyteller, and her lyrics reflect both personal experience and outsider observations. Mainly an acoustic, folk artist, Gina blends traditional Scottish folk stylings with hints of modern pop, with lyrical and rhythmic influences from artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Big Thief and Katie Gregson MacLeod.
As a budding music student at University of the West of Scotland, Gina was the first signing to the newly relaunched Damfino Records, which is a DIY student label platforming and supporting some of the most exciting talent coming from Scotland's emerging Music Industry.
Gina’s first single ‘Dogs’ is released exclusively this month and will be on all major streaming platforms from March 31st.
